SEARCH TIPS:
- A simple search will search all fields for the value you enter in exactly the way that you entered it. It is best limited to one word. Multiple words will be searched for as a single unit, and all words must be in the same field. Use the Advanced search to search across multiple fields - for example, if you want to find all the Smith's that served in WWII.
- Designated fields are Last Name, First Name, Home, War, Rank, Unit, WIA, KIA, Source, and Submitter.
- If you wish to search by state, spell it out.
- If you wish to search by war, just type one word from the war (i.e. Revolution or 1812). The World Wars are designated by WWI and WWII.
- You may also search for WIA and KIA by typing those acronyms.
- There are currently entries in the Registry.
