Henrietta M. Bornemann born 17 January 1855 in Selnitz, Kreis Schlawe, Pommern, Prussia, was the daughter of Charles Bornemann and Caroline Oldenburg. According to the 1900 Census she immigrated in 1875. She first married, Thomas Clark, native of Ireland. After his death, she married James Whalen, native of Aillbrack, Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland. She is buried next to James in Kearbey Chapel Cemetery in the Halloran Community, Epps Township, Butler County, MO. to Ripley County, MO in 1875
