Isaac Paddock, son of John and Polly Christian Paddock, was born in Oneida County where his father had been granted land as a Revolutionary War veteran. He was married to Christena Wager, born 1819, probably in Oneida County. They had their first child, Jenette, in Lewis County, NY, (see other entry) in 1845, according to family records. Their other children, Mindy Paddock (1854) and Ary Paddock (1857) were born in Illinois according to the 1860 census. Christena died in Whiteside County in 1900. Many other members of the family also moved from central NY to northwestern Illinois. Isaac was a farmer. This information is from various websites.
