Hans Marcus Andersen immigrated from Denmark to Clinton County Iowa, in 1880. He then migrated over with his wife Christinia and his family one son I know was named Harry Emitt Andersen to Sonoma County Santa ROsa California. Instead of reaching his destination, he settled in Ormsby County, Carson City Nevada, in 1897. He purchased a ranch from the Phillips estate. His home was in Carson City Nevada on Kings Canyon road , where his grandson now lives. to Clinton County, IA in 1880
