Simon Shaughnessy came to the United States from Ire.with brothers,Michael and Patrick,approximately 1851...they first lived in Bennington,Bennington,Co Vt...then the next move was to Elkhart,Ill.in about 1860 ...he married Anastasia(ANN) Kavanagh in Ill. Michael married Katherine Kavanagh..Anastasias (Ann\'s) sister there....at some point they all moved to Tecumseh,Johnson Co. Ne. Simon went to the Northwest to Fife,Washington,Michael and Patrick lived the rest of their lives in Tecumseh,Ne.are both buried in St.Andrews Cemetery there...Simon is buried in Woodbine Cemetery as well as Anastasia in Puyallup Washington		to New York City, New York, NY in abt 1850 to Benington, Bennington County, VT in abt 1850 to Elkhart, Logan County, IL in abt 1863 to Tecumseh, Johnson County, NE in abt 1870 to WA Territory in abt 1890
