Thomas Harvey McMichael, son of Matthew D McMichael and Mary Polly McQueen was born 10/9/1832 in Crawford County, PA. He married Margaret Jane Ewing 2/1/1853 in Crawford County, PA. She was the daughter of John Ewing (1781 Ireland, 1852 Crawford County, PA and Jane 1791-1846) Thomas Harvey and Margaret McMichael had 7 children: Alvin Ewing McMichael, Mary Louisa McMichael McKay, Matthew McMichael, John McMichael, Oscar Randolph McMichael, Agnes McMichael and Robert McMichael. The children were all born in Crawford County, PA. Thomas Harvey McMichael died from a heart attack in 1911 in Lincoln, KS and Margaret died in 1913.
