On his migration through Chenango County, Jesse was accompanied by his wife, Mary Ann Smith Blencowe and his son James who was born in 1865. Both Mary Ann and James were born in Gawcott also. While in Chenango County, Jesse's family with Jesse's cousin William Blencowe (see other entry) and his family. William also moved to Jackson County, WI. The name is spelled Blencowe in Buckinghamshire records, Blincoe in 1870 Chenango census and Blencoe for all records in Wisconsin.		to Norwich, Chenango County, NY in abt 1868 to Hixton Township, Jackson County, WI in 1871
