Andy Brooks moved in to the Possium Kingdom area before or around 1917. He married Anna Vel Low and the couple had eight childering before Anna Vel died of pneumonia: Harold Brooks (Soap), Roy Charles ( Hank), Mary Eva(Peggy), Eugenia (Tug), Hatty Jo (Emmer), Melva Lavel (Stem), and Andy Lee( Jerry). My grandfather worked for the Castalows and other ranchers in the area most of his life. He had family in Newport TN. The information is as correct as I can get. to Palo Pinto County, TX in 1910
