Isham Brown, ( son of John M. Brown and Susannah A. Nettles ), came to north fla with his parents and his brothers Andrew J. and John prior to 1860. After arriving in fla. five more children were born into his family---brothers--Stephen, Welthy A., James C., Millard F. and a sister Martha E. Isham's paternal grandfather was Jack Brown of South Carolina. Isham married Mary A. Herndon of GA. to southeastern GA in 1855-1858
