Jonas Fredric Bellinger was born 7 November, 1820 in Herkimer County, NY. He was the son of Fredrick H and Elesebeth (Klock) Bellinger. He migrated with his parents to LeRay, Jefferson County, NY by the 1830.. By 1838, he migrated to Richfield Township, Lapeer County, MI. In 1842, Richfield Township was transferred to Genesee Co., Michigan. On 25 February, 1846, he married Mary \"Polly\" Curtis, the daughter of Hiram and Mary \"Polly\" Curtis, at Richfield Township, Genesee County, MI. By 1855, the family moved to Fairgrove, Tuscola County, MI. In 1860, they moved to Bridgeport, Saginaw County, MI. In the late 1870, Jonas and Polly Bellinger moved to Midland, Midland County, MI. By mid 1890, they lived in Hartwick Township, Osceola County, MI. Polly (Curtis) Bellinger died 11 October, 1905 at Hartwick Township, Osceola County, MI. Jonas Fredric Bellinger died 28 May 1906 at Hartwick Township, Osceola County, MI. They are buried in the Cherry Valley Cemetery at Avondale, Osceola County, MI.

(4) Mary Gertude Bellinger, born June 1855, lived in Coleman, Midland County, MI, wife of Nellson Brink.
(5) Fanny Fidelia Bellinger, born December 1856, died 2 May, 1914 Seattle, King County Wa, wife of George Conklin..
(6) Emma Justina Bellinger, born 19 April 1861 at Bridgeport, Saginaw County, MI, died 17 March, 1966 at Flint, Genesee County, MI, wife of John DeWitt Hursh. They lived Gladwin County, MI and Flint, Genesee County, MI.
(7) Anna (Rosina) Bellinger born 1867.
At least three additional children died in infancy.
