I am searching for any information on John Grebner (b. 1828) - came over from Bavaria in 1846 and married Mary E Lipps (b. 1832) from OH. He worked for the railroad, which is making it very hard to locate him in one spot for long. His children were Caroline, Andrew, Clara, Otelia, Emma, Lizzie, Fred and August. I know that Andrew was born in Indiana, and at least Lizzie and Fred were born in Michigan, probably at least one other was born there. I'm a descendant of Fred Grebner (b. 11-22-1872), he married Matilda Backscheider (b. 10-13-1872) and had 3 children (one dying at the age of 2). They met and married in OH. Any information on either this line of the Grebners, or the Lipps would be most helpful.
