Willard F. (Duck) Geswein, 72, Lanesville, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, March 21, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, born Sept. 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Christy and Margaret Benson Geswein
He was a retired farmer, school bus driver, rural mail carrier, and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville and Harrison County Council Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, the former LaVerne Smith; three sons, Jerry, James and Michael Geswein, all of Lanesville; three sisters, Mildred Gleason of Jeffersonville, Ruth Harbeson of New Albany and Joyce Schueler of Lanesville.
Prayer service: Sunday, March 23, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, March 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Harold Ripperger.
Pallbearers: Tim Schueler, Barry and Denny Geswein, Lynne Harbeson, David Stilger and Denny Gleason.
