Albert Edward Emge
Albert Edward Emge, 58, of Marietta Rt. 2 died at 1 p.m. yesterday at University Hospital at Columbus.
He was born Dec. 19, 1918, in Churchtown, the son of the late Edward Valentine and Mary Elizabeth Secrest Emge.
Mr. Emge lived most of his life in the Marietta area. He was a metal finisher for 25 years, employed by Sewah Studios of Marietta.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Churhtown.
On Sept. 18, 1943, he married Margene Harbaugh, who survives with a daughter, Miss Mary Margaret Emge of Marietta, a son, Michael Edward of the home and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Martin of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Clark of Apopka, Fla.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Highland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow at Cawley Funeral Homes, where a rosary wake service will be held at 8:15.
