He left on the same day as Sebastian Trapp and his family. I was unable to find him (or two of Sebastian Trapps children) in the ship passenger list of the ship Clarissa Perkins, which arrived in New York on 11 July 1845, bound from Bremen with several other Hoerstein area families, including Konrad Streit and Adam Wilz. the closest to a match I was able to find on that list was a Johan Kust, who was age 30. It is very possible that this is him.
