Obituary: Mrs. Robert B. Reising, 81, died Wednesday at Suburban Medical Center.
She was the former Zuella Phillips, a native of Colburn, Va., a retired registered nurse, past president of the Women Propeller Club and a member of Highland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors: two sons, Robert B. Reising Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., and James E. Reising; a daughter, Harriet A. Reising; three sisters, Clara Allen of Betsy Layne, Vera Thompson of Pikeville and Bess Morrow of Kingsport, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane. Burial: Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Mildred Mary Bott, 81, of Louisville, died Saturday, December 14, 2002, at her son's residence in Bullitt County. Born September 30, 1921, in Louisville, she was the former Mildred Mary Pontrich. She was one of the first members of St. Polycarp Catholic Church, a life-member of Mill Creek VFW #5421 Ladies' Auxiliary, she served as 6th District president and past president of the Auxiliary Club and past VAVS deputy. She was past president of Louisville VFW #5636 and Mill Creek #5421 Ladies' Auxiliary, a life-member of St. Polycarp Booster Club, cochairman of the bingo there and one of her church's most faithful volunteers. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Pontrich; sister, Edna Conrad; parents, Edward and Mayme Pontrich; and grandchildren, Veronica Wimsatt, Jonathan Bott and Randen Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John B. Bott; sons, Jack E. Bott (Karen), and Kenny Bott (Melissa); daughters, Maryann Bellflower (Roy), Carolyn Wimsatt (Bucky), Donna Wimsatt (Leon), Mickey Kolle (Danny), Beverly McMurdo (Steve), Kathy Myers (Dan), Bonnie Tolle (Don) and Joanna Thomas (Johnny); 38 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.

TO BE BURIED On the Anniversary of Her Birth
Mrs. Barbara Guenther, mother of Messrs, Valentine and George Ehringer, of this city, died at her home in St. Joe, Tuedsay afternoon at 2 o'clock after a weeks illness of pneumonia. She was the wife of Casper Guenther and was born in Germany 78 years ago tomorrow. Her mainden name was Miss Barbara Popp and she was extensively related to the family of that name residing in Carr township.
The first husband of Mrs. Guenther was John Ehringer who in his day was a prominent man in this county. Some years after his death Mrs. Guenther married her surviving husband who is 84 year of age and has been an invalid for a year.
Until her last illness Mrs. Guenther was a most remarkable woman. She was well preserved and when surrounded by her grandchildren, 24 of whom she had, she would romp and play with them the same as if she was one of them, being the last one to tire of their games.
Mrs. Guenther was also the mother of Mrs. Fred Enders, of Cementville, and John Ehringer, of Sellersburg. The funeral of Mrs. Guenther will occur on the 78th anniversary of her birth and will be at St. Joe.
