Located on the remains of a farm in Hancock Co., KY just off of Old Hawesville-Lewisport Rd. or Hilldale Rd. near the junction with Poplar Grove Rd. The graveyard is in a wilderness, back off the road near the fenceline of a neighboring farm. The GPS coordinates were 375440N 865120W. The altitude of the site, according to the GPS, which differs from the altitude given in Google Earth was 767 ft. The pictures linked to this page were taken on 2 Jan 2009 by me as well as my two sons Kelly (age 11) and Alexander (age 9), unless otherwise noted. There were 12 stones that I had read previously that we were unable to find on this date. We found an old wall near the graveyard and are curious about whether it belonged to the original house, or served some other purpose.

41 Graves at least. Several graves could be unmarked. Some stones seem to be misplaced. Many of the stones have been knocked over, somce are lodged in the ground. This graveyard has not been taken care of in recent years and was severely grown over each time that I attempted to copy the stones. The people that are buried here are family and neighbors of William R. Duncan and his children on whose farm this cemetery once stood, and is mentioned in his will dated 1874. Below is what I could find in several trips, as well as a couple others that had been noted by other transcribers.
